About WPTF
World Police Taekwondo Federation (WPTF)
The World Police Taekwondo Federation (WPTF) is a global police taekwondo federation established for the purpose of promoting friendship among police agencies around the world, international exchange, and the development of police martial arts based on Taekwondo.
WPTF seeks to enhance the mental and physical capabilities of police officers worldwide based on the values of the Taekwondo spirit—courtesy, respect, self-control, responsibility, and justice—and aims to contribute to international security cooperation and the promotion of peace.
Furthermore, going beyond simple sports exchanges, we are developing practical, combat-oriented police martial arts training—such as arrest techniques, restraint techniques, and security martial arts—essential for police operations, thereby enhancing the professionalism and international competitiveness of global police Taekwondo.
The World Police Taekwondo Federation operates international championships, police taekwondo seminars, international referee and instructor training, and police practical martial arts programs, and has established a close cooperative system with police agencies around the world.
In particular, WPTF is developing a “Police Taekwondo” and “Police Practical Martial Arts” system that is distinct from general Taekwondo organizations, and is growing into a global police martial arts platform based on a network of international police agencies.
Currently, WPTF is leading the spread of global police Taekwondo culture by cooperating with various countries around the world, including Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
The World Police Taekwondo Federation will continue to grow as an international federation alongside the global police community under the spirit of fairness, trust, international friendship, and harmony.
Thank you.
